Painting Warranty & Privacy Policy
M.I.S Painting Warranty & Privacy Policy provides a limited workmanship warranty ranging from 2 to 5 years from the documented project completion date. The exact warranty period depends on the type of project, surface condition, coating system, exposure and project conditions and will be stated in the applicable quotation or project documentation. Our workmanship warranty applies to qualifying coating or application failures caused directly by our workmanship. Project-specific terms in an approved quotation or contract take priority where applicable.
Painting Warranty & Privacy Policy
A project is considered substantially complete when the contracted work has been completed and the space can reasonably be used for its intended purpose. Minor touch-ups do not make the entire project incomplete and do not automatically justify withholding the full outstanding balance. Final payment is due according to the payment schedule shown in the approved quotation, contract or invoice, subject to applicable Ontario law. Any undisputed amount remains payable when due.
- Clients should inspect the completed project and provide one consolidated list of legitimate touch-up items within 5 calendar days of completion, preferably with photographs. M.I.S Painting will review and correct legitimate deficiencies related to our workmanship and original project scope. Once approved completion items have been corrected, newly requested cosmetic items or repeated return visits may be treated as additional service. Additional charges may apply when touch-ups are required because of damage after project completion, other contractors or trades, movers, cleaners or occupants, new repairs or construction, work outside the original quotation, or newly requested improvements or changes. Warranty claims remain separate from the initial touch-up process.
